I was born and raised in Charlotte and, except for the two and a half years that I lived in England, I have lived near Charlotte my whole live. Both my parents were also born and raised in Charlotte. My Dad was a farm boy that fell for a girl who would race his ’56 turquoise chevy on the wrong side of what used to be Hickory Grove-Newell Road against boys she went to high school with (boogity, boogity, boogity, let’s go racing boys!) I’m afraid I inherited her lead foot.I had to import an Englishman to marry, but as a true southern girl, I made sure he came from the South of England. I just love to listen to him talk, which is good, because he loves to talk! I have two beautiful and wonderful step-daughters who are still living in England. I was a Producer/Director working for a ten years in live television, which truly is a jungle! I was able to meet the high demands and tight deadlines while producing professional work under great pressure. Following the studio’s demise, I turned my love of color and design to running her own home interior design business. While living in jolly olde England I jumped into a new career with an innovative web-based technology company that embraced cutting edge design technology. When we moved back to the US, I turned my skills to promote workplace safety in a large international company, designing and distributing bi-lingual materials. I started at ZooFuze on April 1st, 2009 (yeah, I know, it was April Fool’s Day!) I hope to bring the same level of professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm I’ve had in my previous careers, with the added bonus that I can drink hot tea with milk in it and understand British!
