I'm Erik Haviland, the owner of ZooFuze, a photography and design studio located in Charlotte, North Carolina. In all of my projects, I bring a unique vision, developed during my 17 years in advertising photography and design consulting.

ZooFuze has it's roots in Haviland Imaging, which was formed in 2003. In spring of 2008, we rebranded Haviland Imaging to become ZooFuze, a design & photography studio in Charlotte, NC.

My philosophy regarding my work supports my efforts to bring the very best to each of my clients, no matter the size of the job.

In 1991, I began my career in advertising working for my father, Patrick Haviland, at his Charlotte studio - Advertising Photography. I was responsible for freelance assignments and location photoshoots, among studio work consisting of set design & photography using large format and medium format film cameras.

Spring of 1995 brought about a truly unique opportunity to begin the first fully digital photography studio in the southeast. At that time, digital photography was in its infancy. Very remarkable and groundbreaking processes needed to be created to arrive where digital photography is today. During those years, I used primarily a large format Dicomed scaning back cameras on a Sinar P2 4x5 view camera.

In 1999, I joined Computer Associates International as a graphic design consultant. I collaborated with multiple VP's, sales, marketing and consulting teams to develop corporate imagery, communications and marketing strategies, as well as web, print and interactive design pieces and campaigns.

Summer of 2003 I left the corporate world to open Haviland Imaging, a design and photography studio in Huntersville, NC. There we offered Photography, Graphic Design, Web Design, Multimedia, Commercial Advertising, Portraits, Events, Signage, Brochures, Annual Reports, Posters, Corporate Identity, Business Cards, Letterhead, Logo design, Ecommerce, Packaging Design, mechanical and marketing materials. 

Now in 2008, with the rebranding to ZooFuze, we continue with the same high-standard and quality service offered to our clients during the past 17 years.
